Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 11, 2026

P139-14 respects privacy, dignity, choice, and transparency. This Privacy Policy explains the limited information involved in the planned public Digital Front Door, how that information may be handled, and how to contact us about it.

P139-14 is operated by P139-14 LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company.

For this policy, P139-14, we, us, and our refer to the P139-14 website and project operated by P139-14 LLC. This policy does not represent that P139-14 is a nonprofit organization or tax-exempt organization.

1. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • The public P139-14 website at p139-14.org.
  • The three optional P139-14 recruiting-interest Forms hosted by Google Forms and their restricted linked response sheets.
  • Direct email sent to a p139-14.org role address.
  • Information P139-14 receives from the website host or email provider in connection with those services.

The P139-14 community is hosted separately on Mighty Networks. Live public registration and profile creation are not yet open. P139-14’s intended model keeps basic membership, profiles, community participation, and networking free while programs and resources may be offered separately through paid access. Mighty Networks processes information under its own terms, privacy policy, and cookie practices. This Privacy Policy describes P139-14’s limited handling of information; it does not replace the policies of Squarespace, Google, Mighty Networks, a visitor’s email provider, browser, device, or another external service.

2. Current Digital Front Door limits

The public website is informational and non-transactional. It links to three optional Google Forms for recruiting and planning interest. A Form submission does not create a member account or profile, enrollment, admission, employment, volunteer placement, sponsorship, partnership, a service guarantee, or a payment obligation. The website does not include:

  • Live public account or profile creation, or community registration.
  • Class or event registration.
  • Enrollment or a service waitlist.
  • Payment or checkout.
  • Donations or sponsorship payments.
  • A newsletter signup.
  • Public comments, chat, or user-posted content.
  • A portal for submitting testimonials, participant stories, photographs, or recordings.

Contact is available through clearly identified email addresses. Do not send information by email if you are not comfortable with email transmission and provider processing.

3. Information involved when you browse the website

Squarespace hosts this website. Like other website hosts, Squarespace may automatically process technical information needed to deliver, secure, diagnose, and operate the site. Depending on Squarespace's current settings and your device or consent choices, this may include:

  • Internet Protocol address.
  • Date and time of a request.
  • Browser, device, and operating-system information.
  • Pages requested and referring page or website.
  • Cookie or similar-technology information.
  • Basic site-traffic or performance information made available through the hosting service.

P139-14 has not intentionally installed an independent advertising pixel or a separate marketing-analytics service for this minimum-viable public site. Squarespace may still process technical information and use cookies under its own policies and the site's active settings.

4. Information involved when you email us

If you send an email to P139-14, the information received may include:

  • Your email address and the name associated with it.
  • The recipient, subject line, message, and date and time.
  • Attachments and any other information you choose to include.
  • Technical email-routing and security information.
  • Follow-up correspondence and internal routing needed to respond.

P139-14 uses Google Workspace for the p139-14.org mailbox and role addresses. Google and the sender's email provider process email information under their applicable agreements and policies.

The approved role addresses include:

  • hello@p139-14.org for general questions.
  • partners@p139-14.org for potential collaborators.
  • accessibility@p139-14.org for accessibility barriers or alternative-format requests.
  • privacy@p139-14.org for privacy questions and requests.
  • safety@p139-14.org for safeguarding and community concerns.
  • billing@p139-14.org for future billing support; no public payment service is active at this pre-launch.

These listed role addresses currently route to one managed P139-14 mailbox. Do not assume that an email sent to a role address is visible only to a separate department or specialist. Separately, finance@p139-14.org is a restricted Google Group reserved for future financial operations. It is not an authenticated mailbox and has not completed delivery testing; do not use it for banking or sensitive financial communications.

Optional Google recruiting-interest Forms

The Home page links to three optional Google Forms for: (1) adult-submitted family and participant inquiries, including interest relating to children, teens, adults, and older adults; (2) educators, providers, and volunteers; and (3) schools, organizations, partners, and sponsors. Depending on the selected Form and the respondent’s choices, a submission may include an adult respondent’s name, email address, callback number where required, role or organization, broad interest selections, availability, accessibility preferences, and information voluntarily entered in an open-text response.

P139-14 asks respondents not to submit medical records, diagnoses, financial credentials, government identification numbers, passwords, or unnecessary information about another person. An adult parent, caregiver, or authorized representative should provide only information reasonably necessary for recruiting and planning, while respecting an adult participant's privacy, preferences, and rights.

Google processes each Form submission and the linked response sheet under its applicable terms and policies. Access to the linked response sheets is restricted to authorized P139-14 administration. A submission is nonbinding and does not guarantee or create a member account or profile, enrollment, admission, services, employment, volunteer placement, sponsorship, partnership, or payment.

5. Information we ask you not to send

Do not send the following through a general or initial email:

  • Passwords or account credentials.
  • Payment-card, bank-account, or other financial credentials.
  • Social Security numbers or other government identification numbers.
  • Complete medical, mental-health, educational, or legal records.
  • Intimate images or unnecessary information about another person.
  • Information you do not have the right or permission to share.

If a limited amount of sensitive information later becomes necessary to address a specific request, wait until an appropriate and more secure process has been identified.

6. How information may be used

P139-14 may use information received through the current public website or email to:

  • Deliver and secure the public website.
  • Respond to a question or requested communication.
  • Route a message to the appropriate P139-14 role address.
  • Review an accessibility, privacy, safety, or partnership inquiry.
  • Review and respond to a voluntary recruiting-interest submission and plan possible future outreach or information sessions.
  • Provide public information in another format when reasonably available.
  • Diagnose a website or email-delivery problem.
  • Prevent or address suspected spam, fraud, abuse, exploitation, security incidents, or unlawful activity.
  • Preserve a record when reasonably necessary for operational continuity, safety, a dispute, or a legal obligation.
  • Comply with law or protect a person's rights or safety.

P139-14 does not use a general inquiry as permission to publish a person's name, story, image, testimonial, health information, or other private information. Separate documented consent would be required before any such public use.

P139-14 does not sell email messages or the personal information contained in them and does not use them for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. When information may be disclosed

Information may be processed or disclosed only as reasonably necessary in the current pre-launch context:

  • To Squarespace as the website host.
  • To Google Workspace and the sender's email provider for email delivery, storage, security, and administration.
  • To Google Forms and Google Workspace for recruiting-interest submission processing, restricted response-sheet storage, security, and administration.
  • To Mighty Networks if a person later chooses to register for or participate in the developing community.
  • To a service provider or professional adviser assisting with security, accessibility, legal, accounting, or technical work, subject to an appropriate need for the information.
  • To an appropriate authority or other person when required by law or reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, abuse, exploitation, unlawful activity, or a serious safety concern.
  • To another party with the informed permission of the person concerned.

P139-14 does not authorize a potential collaborator, volunteer, facilitator, sponsor, or other outside person to access visitor inquiries merely because that person has expressed interest in the project.

8. Cookies and technical controls

Squarespace may use cookies and similar technologies that are required to serve and protect the website, remember settings, and provide hosting functions. The site's Squarespace cookie banner is enabled, non-essential cookies are restricted unless the visitor consents, and a Cookie Preferences control is available. Required cookies may still operate for hosting, security, and core functions.

You may be able to block or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking required cookies can affect how a website works. Review Squarespace's own Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for current details about its processing.

If a link takes you to Mighty Networks or another service, that service may use different cookies and controls under its own policies.

9. The developing Mighty Networks community

Live public community registration and profile creation are not open as part of this launch. If and when they open, basic membership, profiles, community participation, and networking are intended to be free; programs and resources may be offered separately through paid access. A purchase will not be required merely to belong. If a person later chooses to register, Mighty Networks may ask for or automatically process information such as a name, email address, profile information, content, activity, device information, Internet Protocol address, cookies, and approximate location, depending on the person’s choices and Mighty’s current service settings.

Information a person posts in an admitted-member space may be visible to hosts or other authorized members according to that Space's settings. Do not join or post information unless you are comfortable with the applicable Mighty Networks policies, P139-14 Community Guidelines, and the visibility shown in the service.

Privacy questions about P139-14's handling of community information may be sent to privacy@p139-14.org. Requests concerning Mighty Networks' own processing may also need to be directed to Mighty Networks.

10. Retention and deletion

P139-14 has not yet finalized a comprehensive records-retention schedule for future programs, enrollment, payments, or open community operations because those services are not part of this launch.

At the current Phase 1 stage, email correspondence and recruiting-interest responses may remain in managed Google Workspace mailboxes or restricted linked response sheets until reviewed and deleted, subject to provider backups, security needs, recruiting/operational follow-up, legal obligations, safety needs, dispute preservation, or other legitimate operational requirements. Technical website data is retained according to Squarespace's systems and the site's available settings. P139-14 has not represented that a finalized comprehensive retention schedule exists.

To ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you sent directly to P139-14, email privacy@p139-14.org. We may need enough information to verify the request and locate the relevant record. A request may be limited where retention or disclosure is required or permitted by law, necessary for security or safety, or controlled by an independent provider.

11. Security

The p139-14.org business email is hosted through Google Workspace, and domain email-authentication records have been configured. P139-14 also relies on security features provided by Squarespace and Google.

No website, email system, storage service, or Internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Use care when deciding what to send. If you believe an email may be fraudulent or that information sent to P139-14 has been compromised, contact privacy@p139-14.org without including additional sensitive information.

12. Children and adult autonomy

P139-14’s mission includes children, teens, adults, older adults, families, and caregivers. This public website does not offer child enrollment, a child-directed account, or independent public accounts for minors. The current recruiting-interest Forms are intended only for adult respondents, including adult participants, adult parents, caregivers, supporters, educators, providers, volunteers, and authorized organizational representatives. P139-14 does not intentionally ask a child to submit personal information through the website or Forms.

An adult submitting interest for a child or household should provide only information reasonably necessary for recruiting and planning and should not submit a child’s medical records, government identifiers, exact location, or other unnecessary private information. Adults with disabilities retain privacy, dignity, choice, and agency. A family member, caregiver, supporter, or representative should not disclose an adult’s information without appropriate authority and respect for that adult’s preferences and rights.

13. Your questions and requests

Depending on applicable law and reasonable verification, you may ask P139-14 about information you provided, request correction or deletion, withdraw permission for an optional use, or raise a privacy concern.

Send privacy questions and requests to:

privacy@p139-14.org

General questions may be sent to hello@p139-14.org.

Email is not monitored continuously. For an immediate emergency, contact 911 or the appropriate local emergency service rather than relying on email.

14. Changes to this policy

This policy will be reviewed before P139-14 activates live community registration or profile creation, classes, enrollment, payments, donations, marketing subscriptions, additional Forms, or other material data practices. It may also be updated when the current Forms, technology, services, or legal requirements materially change. The effective date will be revised when a material update is published.
